Different catagories

Stockholding Membership: Only a stockholding member or his or her spouse is entitled to vote and hold office. Stockholding memberships require the purchase of an available stock. A Stock for Sale is available upon request.

Junior Memberships: If you are under the age of 40, you are eligible to apply for Special Membership. This category of membership provides that no stock need be purchased until the applicant is 40 years of age; in lieu of stock purchase, an amount is deposited monthly into a special account with the understanding that this money may be applied only toward the eventual purchase of a share of stock. Should you be transferred or change your mind about being a member, the only way you could recoup the money you paid in is to buy a share of stock at that time and then sell it.

To estimate your escrow payment, divide the number of months until you turn 40 into the curren approved sales price(get this figure from the Membership Secretary). This does lock in the price of the stock: whenever you buy a stock, you must pay the difference (if any) between the sale price and the amount in your escrow account. If the price should be lower than your escrow balance, you would get money back. You do not have to wait until you are 40 years of age to buy stock, you may buy one any time after being approved as a Special Member.

Non Resident: Persons who do not own stock in the club and who have no residence within a 75 mile radius of Amarillo and whose permanent place of business or office or establishment from which their business is conducted is not within a 75 mile radius of Amarillo and whoes period of residence and that of their family in Potter or Randall County, Texas, will not exceed two (2)months of any year.

Clergy: The senior or primary pastor of a church in Potter or Randall County, Texas.
