Chamber of Commerce's annual food, fun and networking event, held in Downtown Lubbock.
Is your BBQ the best in West Texas? Compete and find out at the 7th annual Chamber BBQ Cook-off, presented by Suddenlink West Texas, to be held Thursday, September 25, in front of the Chamber offices at Broadway and Avenue L. Setup will begin on Wednesday, September 24.
Team entry fee will be $100 for all teams (including amateur) except student teams which will pay $50. Companies may choose which division they wish to participate – Corporate, Professional or Amateur/Student.
The event will be open to the public from 5-9 p.m. Thursday evening, and the Hogg Maulies will provide entertainment for the evening. Food will be served from 5 p.m. until it runs out. Tickets will be $15 in advance and $20 at the door for adults; $10 for students either way; and children ages 5 and under are free. “Students” include all elementary-high school age, plus college with a valid ID.
