Counties Served: Bailey, Cochran, Crosby, Dickens, Floyd, Garza, Hale, Hockley, King, Lamb, Lubbock, Lynn, Motley, Terry, and Yoakum Counties
Clientele: Low income HIV-positive individuals
Counseling, health education/risk reduction, HIV prevention education, substance abuse intervention, educational materials, HIV/AIDS clinical treatment, nurse on-site, hepatitis vaccination, dental care for HIV-positive, hove visits/home health care, case management for HIV/AIDS, child care, clothing assistance, financial education/emergency assistance, food pantry, housing assistance, legal services (HIV), medication assistance program, nutrition services, support groups, transportation, volunteer services. Project CHAMPS is just one of many programs SPCAA has in Lubbock and surrounding counties. SPCAA also has WIC, Family Planning, Primary Healthcare services, Breast Cancer and Cervical Cancer Screening, CLASS program, SPARTAN Transportation, Headstart, Home Healthcare Services, South Plains Regional Housing Authority, Child Care Services, etc. Spanish speaking staff available.
